She was previously head of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament of Latvia, an alumni member of the European Youth Parliament, and currently is a One Young World ambassador and engagement lead in the Baltic States. She is a master's student of law, specialising in constitutional law and human rights law, and has worked on multiple cases of importance to the LGBT community, and women's rights. She was the Youth Delegate of Latvia to the United Nations (2020 - 2022), focusing on climate change, disinformation, and equality during her term.
